Choosing Stainless Steel Straws
No need to become overwhelmed with choices—we offer party sets that can meet most of your partying needs. Here’s a quick guide to sizes:
The 6.25-inch straw fits glass wine tumblers perfectly and goes great with most cocktail glasses.
8.5-inch straws are perfect for regular 12 to 16 oz drinks and come in two widths--a 6mm and an 8mm. The 8mm works great for blended and thicker drinks.
An 8.5-inch bent stainless steel straw works best for aluminum cans. Fun fact: A straw is more sanitary than directly putting your mouth on the can. Harmful bacteria can survive on the lids of aluminum cans. The bacteria can contaminate the cans during storage, transportation, or handling at the store.
Preparing Your Stainless Steel Straws
Preparing stainless steel straws is quick and easy. Simply wash them in warm soapy water and clean the inside with a nylon cleaning brush. Rinse and set aside to dry. It only takes a few minutes, and your straws will be ready to use when your guests arrive. You can also separate the stainless-steel straws by size and type by putting them in a utensil holder. Place them in a convenient location with your beverage station, and you are ready to go! If you have bartenders, they can throw in the straw as a finishing touch with the garnish, or you can create trays with your signature cocktail ahead of time.
